Job summary

Converse County Aging Services (CCAS) is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead its senior services operations in Douglas and Glenrock, WY. This nonprofit role requires strategic vision, strong governance collaboration with the Board, staff leadership, and financial stewardship to sustain community aging programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Human Services, Gerontology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of leadership or management experience required or equivalent.
• Experience in nonprofit aging services or senior services highly valued.
• Strong leadership and staff development capabilities.
• Financial literacy and ability to manage budgets and grants.
• Excellent relationship-building and community engagement skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a Board of Directors and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for CCAS and its mission serving older adults and the community.
• Partner with the Board of Directors on governance, policy, and long-term direction.
• Lead and develop the organization's leadership team and staff.
• Oversee senior center operations in Douglas and Glenrock, including programs and facilities.
• Ensure programs meet the needs of older adults, caregivers, families, and the community.
• Oversee contracts, service agreements, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate on budgets, financial reporting, grants, cash flow, and controls.
• Promote high-quality, person-centered service delivery and community engagement.
• Strengthen partnerships with community partners, healthcare organizations, local governments, and donors.
• Represent CCAS in the community and advocate for older adults and aging services.
