Job summary

Cumberland County Council on Older Adults is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization and advance its mission in Cumberland County. The role focuses on strategic direction, fundraising, programs, governance and community engagement.

The successful candidate will oversee staff and volunteers, manage finances and communications, and drive partnerships that promote independence at home for older adults. This is a full-time senior leadership position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience leading a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
• Strong fundraising, governance and community relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations, programs, and services to promote independence at home for older adults.
• Lead fundraising, donor relations and community development initiatives.
• Manage staff, volunteers, finances, HR and communications.
• Report to the Board of Directors and ensure strong governance and compliance.
