Job summary

Ravalli County Council on Aging (RCCOA) seeks an experienced executive director to lead the organization in Hamilton, MT, building on its strong record of serving older residents. You will partner with the board, guide staff, and advance programs while ensuring fiscal responsibility and program quality.

The role requires proven leadership, fundraising ability, and skill in cultivating community relations and collaborations to expand services for 60+ and other community members.

Qualifications

• Proven leader and manager with experience in building and leading a management team and staff.
• Ability to sustain and build partnerships and collaborations.
• Financial management skills, including responsibility for developing and managing budgets.
• Success as a fund and resource developer.
• Compassion, integrity, and ability to relate to people of varied backgrounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working or serving on or with boards of directors.
• Focused with experience motivating, directing, and organizing people and projects with limited resources.
• Proficient in Microsoft software, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall strategic leadership and vision in partnership with the board.
• Nurture and expand programs and key external relationships.
• Provide advice, counsel, and support to the board of directors.
• Manage the organization’s resources and ensure fiscal responsibility and security.
• Oversee the programs, business operations, and finances through a leadership team and build and lead the organizational team.
• Ensure all federal and state reporting is timely completed.
