Job summary

Waltonwood seeks an Executive Director to guide daily operations across all community departments, ensuring exceptional care and service for residents. You will lead department heads, support recruitment, manage budgets, and drive occupancy while maintaining high standards.

You will collaborate with regional leadership, engage with residents and families, and act as a sales leader to welcome new residents. This role demands strong people management, compliance, and a passion for seniors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in General Business, Management, Health Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in executive director or senior management in a senior living context.
• Certified Assisted Living Director or equivalent per state requirements.
• Strong time management; ability to multi-task; weekends/holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all community departments with focus on resident, family, and staff satisfaction.
• Lead and manage department heads; recruit, onboard, and retain staff; ensure staffing and performance management.
• Motivate associates and drive total quality management across the community.
• Meet with residents and families to address concerns and feedback; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate budgets, revenue, NOI, occupancy, and key performance indicators; provide reports.
• Lead sales efforts, conduct tours, and build rapport with current and prospective residents.
• Maintain property standards and ensure move-in readiness; oversee systems and software use.
• Collaborate with Regional Director of Operations and regional support team.
