Job summary

StoryPoint is seeking an Executive Director in Cordova to lead a senior living community with a focus on exceptional resident experience and strong financial health. The role requires building trust, fostering safety and belonging, and guiding a team of leaders to deliver compassionate service daily.

The Executive Director will drive culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the sales process while maintaining open communication with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, health care, gerontology or related field.
• Certification/licensing knowledge for Assisted Living operations and applicable laws.
• Passion for leading people and delivering excellent service to residents.
• Exceptional hospitality with sensitivity to aging adults and families.
• Commitment to helping others and making a difference daily.
• Ability to form meaningful relationships with residents, staff and families to boost satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Drive culture within the community and model servant leadership.
• Reinforce common beliefs through communication and example.
• Build meaningful connections with residents to ensure safety, belonging, purpose and peace of mind.
• Manage the financial health of the community.
• Lead other functional leaders and support HR processes.
• Establish relations with residents and families; assist sales and lease signings.
• Coordinate move-in momentum with departments to meet resident needs.
• Hold monthly Resident Forums to listen and respond to concerns.
• Lead daily stand-ups to address operation issues.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety protocols are followed.
• Provide on-site emergency support when needed; travel may be required.
• Support licensure processes and staffing needs as required.
