Job summary

The University of Rochester is seeking an accomplished leader to advance the Finger Lakes Donor Recovery Network's mission. This executive role directs day-to-day operations, sets strategic goals, and works with hospital partners to maximize organ donation outcomes.

Based in Brighton, NY, this full-time role involves 40 hours per week and close collaboration with regional hospitals and national boards. You will oversee all clinical, financial, development, quality and compliance activities,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, health administration or business with 5 years of management experience in healthcare.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous senior leadership in an organ procurement organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead FLDRN's day-to-day operations and guide strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with transplant program leaders to align donor recovery efforts.
• Recruit and develop Advisory Board members; coordinate meetings.
• Develop best practices for organ recovery and hospital relationships.
• Represent FLDRN in state and national forums and with UNOS/AOPO.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and policies.
• Oversee budgeting, contracting, and financial management.
• Report to the Joint Committee on Quality of Care as required.
