Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an experienced law enforcement or intelligence management professional for an Intelligence Senior Manager position. The Executive Director of the Joint Regional Intelligence Center (JRIC) in Norwalk, CA will manage all aspects of the JRIC and serve as the primary liaison for federal, tribal, state, local, and private sector executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field; Master’s degree desirable.
• 15+ years of experience in law enforcement/intelligence community, incl. 10+ years in supervision/management.
• Proven leadership managing multi-agency law enforcement, intelligence, or fusion center environments.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to articulate the organization’s strategic future.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to gain consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Active Secret clearance; Top Secret eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and evaluate all aspects of JRIC operations and resource allocation.
• Coordinate long- and short-term strategies for training, infrastructure protection, and private sector goals.
• Manage contractors and public safety personnel assigned to the JRIC.
• Develop and maintain extensive federal, tribal, state, and local contacts to determine client needs.
• Represent the JRIC in meetings and briefings with executives and government/private sector partners.
• Develop evaluation criteria, performance goals, and governance reports.
