Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. seeks an Executive Director, Real Estate Legal Government Relations and Public Policy to lead government relations, public policy, and public affairs strategies supporting Panda's nationwide growth.

This role serves as the primary liaison with federal, state, and local agencies, negotiates third-party consents, and guides advocacy to influence development timelines and regulatory outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a law license required; construction, regulatory and negotiation experience.
• 12–15 years of experience in real estate, public relations, and community engagement or similar role with increasing management responsibility.
• Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Leads Real Estate Government Relations, Public Policy, and Legislative Affairs to influence federal, state, and local matters.
• Develops and executes stakeholder engagement strategies for development initiatives and community sentiment trends.
• Partners with internal teams to secure third-party consents and approvals for development projects.
• Builds strategic relationships with governmental entities and community stakeholders to facilitate approvals.
• Provides leadership and oversight of the REL Government Relations team and related programs.
• Collaborates with enterprise partners to align advocacy efforts and avoid duplication.
