• Specialized experience directly related to the position; at least one year at the next lower grade level.
• Preferred qualifications include study in medical/health fields and regulatory oversight experience (3+ years).
• Advanced degree in medicine, health sciences, public health, or related field is preferred.

• Provide direction for efficient use of Board resources and set priorities toward Board goals.
• Assist licensure actions and coordinate disciplinary processes and hearings.
• Represent the Board and Health Systems Administration at meetings; supervise staff and ensure compliance with federal and District rules.
