Job summary

Strategic Exceptions Professional Consulting INC seeks an Executive Director Programs to oversee the Illinois MBDA Business Center and related offerings. You will counsel entrepreneurs, manage budgets, and lead workshops across Illinois, with some out-of-state outreach.

You will supervise staff, coordinate contractors, and report program impact while aligning with MBDA and SE branding. A bachelor’s in nonprofit admin is required; MBA preferred; Spanish helpful.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in nonprofit or civic programs.
• Strong grant development and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with CRM systems and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise MBDA Illinois Center programs and staff.
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, and financial controls with CPA support.
• Plan and deliver workshops, training, and events for clients.
• Develop marketing strategies and external partnerships.
• Maintain client and stakeholder relationships to maximize impact.
• Prepare award reports and ensure program compliance.
