BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Director to join its Cyber Trust & Transformation practice in Chicago, leading advisory and hands‑on engagements across data privacy, governance, AI governance, and digital safety. You will shape strategy, perform risk assessments, and drive program design, operating models, and technology implementation for global clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Advanced degree preferred (JD/MBA) or equivalent.
10+ years in consulting, privacy, data governance, or AI governance.

Responsibilities

Serve as trusted advisor to client boards and C-suite on privacy, governance, and AI.
Lead and deliver complex domestic and global engagements with minimal oversight.
Design and operate privacy, data governance, and AI governance programs.
Translate regulatory obligations into practical processes, controls, and tech plans.
Manage budgets, staffing, and client communications across engagements.
Mentor and develop professionals across the practice.
