Acadia Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Executive Director, People Business Partnership to lead the People Business Partner team and partner with senior leaders on organization, workforce, leadership and talent priorities. Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive PBP, HR or related leadership experience.
• 8+ years leading teams and enterprise-wide people initiatives.
• Biotech/pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry experience.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategy into workforce priorities.
• Experience with organization design, workforce planning, and leadership development.
• Ability to use workforce data and market intelligence to influence decisions.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management.
• Willing to travel up to 25% within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Acadia’s People Business Partner team with high-quality support.
• Translate business strategy into workforce, organization, leadership and talent priorities.
• Advise on organization effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership, talent and change.
• Create focused people plans linked to business priorities.
• Identify capabilities, roles and structures to deliver current priorities.
• Lead workforce planning to inform build/buy/deploy of talent.
• Lead organization design and effectiveness work.
• Strengthen succession and leadership pipelines.
• Improve leadership effectiveness through coaching and insights.
• Enable organizational change with rationale and adoption.
• Collaborate with Legal and HR to ensure compliant decisions.
• Clarify ownership across PBPs, COEs and People Operations.
• Use data to identify emerging needs and improve decisions.
• Travel up to 25% domestically.
