Job summary

Amgen seeks an Executive Director to establish and lead the Patient Experience Center of Excellence (COE) within PAR, aligning brand priorities with access, reimbursement, and patient support. You will manage a team of Patient Experience leaders and partner with brand teams to improve the patient journey.

The role demands enterprise mindset, matrix leadership, and ability to drive measurable improvements in patient and provider experiences across portfolios.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree & 6 years of Marketing experience OR
• Master’s degree & 10 years of Marketing experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree & 12 years of Marketing experience AND 6 years of managerial experience

Responsibilities

• Establish the vision, strategy, and operating model for the Patient Experience COE within PAR.
• Lead Patient Experience leaders; set expectations and development opportunities.
• Serve as senior PAR partner to brand leadership and align strategy with patient access priorities.
• Oversee COE portfolio partnerships across disease areas and ensure patient/provider journey focus.
• Design future-state patient and HCP journeys; translate needs into service requirements.
• Establish governance for portfolio journey councils and cross-functional alignment.
• Oversee intake and prioritization of portfolio requests with capability leaders.
• Incorporate insights from patients, caregivers, providers, and payers into priorities.
• Lead executive updates and QBRs linking results to decisions.
• Translate portfolio priorities into capability roadmaps and monitor impact.
