Worlds of Fun, headquartered in Kansas City, MO, seeks a Director of Maintenance and Construction to lead all phases of maintenance and construction across Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun, and Worlds of Fun Village. You will direct mechanical, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, carpentry, painting and plumbing efforts, coordinating contractors and internal teams to ensure safety and uptime.

Qualifications

• BA in Engineering, Sciences, or Project Management.
• 6–10 years of experience in theme/amusement/water park maintenance.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and structural maintenance including applicable codes.
• Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and background check where allowed.

Responsabilités

• Directs long-term construction planning and oversees all projects, contracting, scheduling, and budget adherence.
• Supervises maintenance staff, ensures safety, compliance with labor laws and collective bargaining agreements.
• Manages budgets and reports to management on project status and expenditures.
• Interfaces with vendors and government agencies to ensure compliance and safe operation of rides and equipment.
