Job summary

Bausch + Lomb seeks an Executive Director - US Operations to lead the Tampa and Greenville manufacturing sites, guiding strategy and full P&L to maximize performance while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

The role requires building a top-tier leadership team across engineering, production, materials management, quality, EHS, and IT, driving efficiency, regulatory adherence, and on-time product delivery for the US market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Microbiology; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in sterile manufacturing.
• Experience managing an annual financial planning process.
• Strong regulatory knowledge (MDR, FDA, EHS, Finance and other agency requirements).
• Ability to build, develop and retain an effective site leadership team.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in engineering areas (facilities, utilities, upgrades, equipment designs, BOD).
• Experience with FDA and international regulatory inspections.
• Strategic thinker in terms of designing operation to meet future aseptic trends in manufacturing (RABS), clean rooms designs and requirements from different regulatory standards.
• Experience with international tech transfer activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing operations to meet customer service, productivity, quality and financial targets.
• Monitor budgets with the Plants Financial Director.
• Design and implement the plant's strategic plan.
• Coordinate with Global Technical Services for new products and tech transfer.
• Drive site operation KPI programs to achieve cross functional goals.
• Collaborate on production planning and inventory control procedures.
• Ensure equipment and facilities meet sterile manufacturing standards and manage capital expenditures.
• Partner with Quality to maintain compliant processes and training.
• Ensure plant security and safety programs are in place.
• Support Finance, Quality, HR, IT and other functions to meet site goals.
