Job summary

Ringside Talent is seeking a Director of Accounting to lead the accounting function from close to external reporting. Based in Cleveland, OH in a hybrid role, you will partner with the CFO and senior leadership to shape policy, drive process improvements, and ensure accurate financial disclosures.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 8+ years of progressive accounting experience including leadership, and a strong US GAAP mastery; CPA strongly preferred and ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience including leadership.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and technical accounting expertise.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of accounting operations including close, consolidation, and external reporting.
• Act as technical accounting authority on policy interpretation and complex transactions.
• Advise on contract review, revenue treatment, and disclosure implications.
• Lead audits readiness and maintain a strong control environment.
• Mentor and build a high-performing accounting team.
• Partner with CFO and senior leadership on reporting and forecasting.
• Drive continuous improvement across processes and systems.
