Job summary

The New England Nordic Ski Association (NENSA) is seeking its next Executive Director to provide inspired leadership for a thriving XC ski nonprofit. This senior role will drive the organization’s four pillars—Sponsors & Grants, Donations, Membership, and Programming—while collaborating with staff, volunteers, and boards to advance the mission.

The Executive Director will promote cross-country skiing, develop the sport across regions, and produce premier events for athletes of all levels, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associate degree or commensurate educational background.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and human relations skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work remotely in fast paced multidisciplinary team environment.
• Proficiency with Google Apps (or comparable) and cloud-based data tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all strategic and operational aspects of NENSA.
• Manage staff and contracted professionals; oversee finances and budget.
• Expand sponsorships, grants, and donor relationships to support programs.
• Represent NENSA with US Ski & Snowboard and partner organizations.
