THE HEALTHCARE INITIATIVE in Arkansas seeks an Executive Director to provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership across five locations. With about 87 FTEs and diversified revenue streams, the organization aims to sustain growth and accountability.

The ideal leader will drive financial stewardship, oversee grants and contracts, recruit and retain clinical staff, manage performance, and ensure regulatory compliance, building trust across the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Demonstrated business and financial leadership experience within behavioral health.
• Experience managing budgets, grants, and public funding sources such as state block grants and service contracts.
• Multi-site operational leadership experience.
• Experience with CARF accreditation and behavioral health regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with behavioral health EMR systems.
