My Friend’s House Family & Children’s Services in Tennessee is seeking an Executive Director to lead a nonprofit residential program for boys in state custody, guiding operations, program quality, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of leadership experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and a proven ability to manage budgets, staff development, fundraising, and community relations; salary is $85,000–$95,000.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible administrative or leadership experience.
• Experience in nonprofit/human services or residential youth settings is preferred.
• Strong budgeting, policy, and staff development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction aligned with the Board’s strategic goals.
• Supervise staff, oversee training, performance management, and employee relations.
• Oversee residential programming quality and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain relationships with DCS, licensing, contractors, and community partners.
• Lead PQI, program outcomes, documentation, and quality-control processes.
• Collaborate with fundraising and donor relations for sustainability.
• Represent the organization in the community and during events.
