Job summary

March of Dimes is seeking an Executive Director of Market Impact to lead a designated market with responsibility for strategy, donor stewardship, and revenue growth. You will build partnerships, mobilize supporters, and manage budgets while expanding impact in maternal and infant health.

Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Market Impact, you will develop plans, lead staff, and grow a diversified donor portfolio, including major gifts, corporate engagements, and mission programs to drive

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing multiple staff over various functional areas, including employees who telecommute.
• Experience in a nonprofit environment is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership/management skills with the ability to motivate staff and lead change.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proven track record building internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mission Impact staff ensuring collaboration with fundraising staff and volunteers; provide Mission Impact education using data to drive outcomes.
• Develop revenue projections and provide financial analysis to support growth.
• Position March of Dimes as a leader in maternal and infant health care in the market and build partnerships with corporations, foundations and government entities.
• Build, maintain and grow a diversified donor portfolio including major gifts and planned giving.
• Oversee strategic planning, budgeting and variance analysis to ensure market profitability.
• Recruit, develop and retain influential volunteer leaders and market board members to drive impact and revenue growth.
