Job summary

DRiV Incorporated is seeking an Executive Director of M&A in Southfield, MI or Skokie, IL to lead acquisition, divestiture, joint ventures, and separations across the enterprise. You will vet opportunities, supervise cross-functional due diligence, and deliver executable transaction plans with senior leadership.

The role requires deep M&A experience, strategic judgment, and executive presence, collaborating with Corporate Development, Strategy, Finance, Tax, Legal, HR, IT, and external advisors.

Qualifications

• Must have vetting opportunities, assessing strategic fit and risk.
• Lead cross-functional due diligence across multiple domains.
• Demonstrated success in divestitures, carve-outs, and separations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full M&A lifecycle from opportunity assessment to close and post-close execution.
• Identify and screen acquisition targets with strategic, market, and risk considerations.
• Establish a rigorous vetting process for strategic fit, market attractiveness, and execution feasibility.
• Lead cross-functional due diligence across commercial, financial, legal, tax, HR, IT, and other areas.
• Direct divestiture strategy, carve-out planning, and Day 1 readiness.
• Coordinate transaction structuring, valuation, negotiations, governance, and regulatory steps.
• Develop concise recommendations and materials for senior leadership.
