Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Executive Director of Infrastructure Platform Experience Design to lead a team of designers responsible for backend infrastructure product experiences across networking, compute, storage, database, and cloud capabilities.

You will shape the vision, operate model, research, and service design standards, ensuring cohesive experiences across UI, APIs, workflows, and support journeys while partnering with product managers and engineers to drive measurable customer

Qualifications

• 7+ years in experience design, service design, or UX research within enterprise settings.
• Proven people management experience leading designers and shaping team culture.
• Ability to drive strategy using service design methods and measurable outcomes.
• Strong technical fluency in infrastructure platforms (networking, cloud, APIs).
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a design team across multiple infrastructure domains.
• Define experience strategy aligned to adoption and efficiency goals.
• Oversee qualitative and quantitative research on infrastructure personas.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to ensure cohesive experiences.
• Establish scalable research rituals, templates, and governance.
• Create service blueprints, journey maps, and workflow models.
