Job summary

Bay Area Rapid Transit seeks an experienced leader to oversee the delivery of major capital infrastructure projects within the PMO. This director-level role guides multi-disciplinary teams through planning, design, procurement, construction, and delivery while ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

The incumbent will optimize project performance, manage risk, and foster cross-department collaboration to advance the agency's strategic objectives. California licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (required).
• Seven years of full-time professional experience in engineering management, project delivery, construction management, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic planning and leadership of engineering, construction management, program management and serve as cross-department liaison to ensure safe, reliable asset management and operations.
• Oversee execution of engineering projects and major contract design and rehabilitation projects; ensure design best practices and project delivery governance.
