Advocate Sherman Hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager to organize and direct clinical and administrative operations within the Nursing Administration. This full-time role focuses on patient safety, quality of care, and staff development, aligning with AdvocateAurora’s mission.

You will partner with leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective care across units. The position requires an RN license, a Master’s degree, and 5+ years of leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• RN license required; 5+ years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan and direct clinical and administrative operations.
• Promote patient safety and foster a culture of safety.
• Monitor department productivity and match care needs with staff skills.
• Develop goals for division, unit, and individuals and drive standard work.
• Oversee quality improvement programs and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor leaders to ensure shared governance and adherence to standards.
• Lead budgeting, staffing, and capital planning in collaboration with finance.
