Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned security leader to own enterprise database IAM strategy and governance. You will drive least-privilege across production and non-production environments, define controls for authentication and authorization, and modernize privileged access management across cloud and on-prem platforms.

Responsibilities include leading AI-driven entitlement analytics, remediation, and compliance programs with partners across security, risk, and audit.

Qualifications

• 8+ years ofTechnology Strategic Leadership experience or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale security, IAM, governance, risk, or compliance initiatives
• 5+ years of experience implementing privileged access management, identity governance, entitlement management, or related security controls
• Experience leading large-scale transformational programs across complex, highly regulated tech environments

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide strategy for database identity and access management across strategic database platforms
• Define target-state controls for authentication, authorization, entitlement management, privileged access, and access certification
• Drive least-privilege adoption across production and non-production database environments
• Establish secure server-side access controls and enterprise service account governance standards
• Govern privileged access models and modernize authentication and authorization capabilities
• Lead AI-driven entitlement analytics, automated remediation, and continuous access governance
• Establish monitoring and metrics for entitlement utilization, privilege consumption, and policy compliance
• Partner with Cyber Security, Operational Risk, and Compliance organizations on security standards, audits, regulatory examinations, and risk management
• Drive remediation of database access findings, issues, and control gaps
• Integrate identity governance into database automation platforms and self-service workflows
• Embed security and access governance into cloud adoption, AI-enabled operations, and platform transformation
• Influence security architecture decisions for future-state database platforms and services
• Partner with IAM, Infrastructure Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, CIO organizations, and database engineering teams
• Communicate strategy, risk posture, compliance priorities, and transformation progress to senior executives
• Lead the Secure Database Access organization and represent Database Technology in executive governance, security, audit, and regulatory forums
