Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Executive Director for Integrative Sciences focusing on hematology-oncology external innovation. The role interfaces with Global Research, Early Development, Business Development, Alliance Management, and external partners to advance high-value opportunities in hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.

The position reports to the U.S. Head of Integrative Sciences with travel ~30% and preferred location in Cambridge, MA; remote arrangements considered case-by-case.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent advanced scientific training in cancer biology, hematology, immuno-oncology, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of drug discovery and/or early development experience in pharma/biotech, with oncology/hematology focus.
• Strong understanding of hematologic malignancy and solid tumor biology.
• Experience evaluating external opportunities and shaping collaboration plans.
• Negotiation experience with external partners and governance.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and advance high-value external scientific opportunities and assets.
• Lead cross-functional teams for diligence and decision-making reviews.
• Design practical collaboration plans with clear objectives, milestones, and governance.
• Represent Integrative Sciences to internal and external stakeholders and drive progress updates.
• Model scientific leadership and enterprise mindset across Research and Integrative Sciences.
