Job summary

Benco Dental, the largest privately owned dental distributor in the United States, seeks a Director of Supply Chain to drive end-to-end procurement, inventory, and demand planning across five distribution centers from Pittston, PA or Flower Mound, TX.

You will partner with Sales, Merchandising, Finance, and Operations to build a competitive supply chain, lead a multi-site team, and deliver cost savings while sustaining high service levels. Domestic and international sourcing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in business or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, or logistics
• 5+ years leading multiple functional teams

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year supply chain strategy across five distribution centers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and warranties with key vendors; lead scorecard-driven reviews and optimize rebates/returns.
• Optimize inventory positioning across consumables, equipment, and private label lines to reduce costs and maintain in-stock targets.
• Ensure import/export compliance and develop international sourcing strategies for private label products.
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing supply chain talent while building accountability and continuous improvement.
• Own the supply chain operating budget; deliver cost savings and report metrics to senior leadership
