J.P. Morgan Asset Management is seeking a Control Manager – Executive Director to lead the Controls Management for the Global Alternative Investments Solutions (GAIS) platform. This role partners with senior stakeholders to mitigate operational risk and strengthen control environments globally.

The candidate will oversee risk event data, governance, and key risk indicators while collaborating with regulatory, legal, risk, audit, and technology teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years of financial services experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance.
• Experience leading broad cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and deliver best practices.
• Demonstrate confident leadership and sound judgment to influence a strong risk culture.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and ability to develop executive presentations.
• Ability to understand processes and associated risk to inform control design.

Responsabilités

• Lead control-related activities, risk event data occurrences, and new business initiatives with due diligence.
• Partner with business units, operations, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators and technology control functions.
• Establish governance and reporting to identify metrics on health of operational risk and controls.
• Lead discussions with regulators, audit teams, compliance and risk across control committees.
• Lead root cause analysis of client-impacting errors and drive control improvements.
• Coordinate with teams across multiple time zones to ensure global control consistency.
