Job summary

GiGi’s Playhouse seeks an Executive Director who combines business acumen with a deep commitment to the organization’s mission. The role leads strategy, fundraising, and Operations, with a focus on community engagement and program integrity.

Responsibilities include board collaboration, financial stewardship, staff leadership, and donor development to sustain growth and transform the lives of families affected by Down syndrome.

Qualifications

• 7+ years management experience in organizational leadership, non-profit, and related field.
• Extensive community connections and board experience.
• Marketing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Playhouse's strategic plan with the Board.
• Serve as liaison between Board and Playhouse with regular updates.
• Recruit and evaluate Board Members and present viable candidates.
• Oversee fundraising and financial management; draft the budget.
• Develop and implement a fundraising plan with the local board and committee.
• Manage donor portfolio and stewardship strategy; achieve fundraising objectives.
• Hire, train, and manage staff; supervise volunteers and staff development.
• Grow community awareness and engagement; represent the organization publicly.
• Ensure programs meet GiGi’s Standards of Execution and deliver high-quality experiences.
