Job summary

Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) invites applications for the Executive Director of the FVTC Foundation, Inc. and FVTC.

The role splits time between Foundation work (65%) and FVTC (35%), leading fundraising, strategic planning, and community engagement to support students and the college mission. Responsibilities include developing the Foundation's strategic plan, implementing campaigns, overseeing scholarships, boards, and communications, and representing FVTC in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate area such as business, management, or communications.
• Graduate degree work or other training/experience in resource development, advancement, or marketing is preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible leadership experience with successful soliciting individuals, corporations, and/or foundations with demonstrated success in closing donations or major gifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic plan for the Foundation and oversee all business operations.
• Lead fundraising activities including annual giving, capital and special campaigns, and a planned giving program.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and financial reporting; collaborate with accounting and external fund managers.
