Job summary

Fortrea Consulting is seeking an Executive Director Epidemiologist to lead the epidemiology capability, providing scientific governance for complex programs, developing senior leaders, and guiding priorities within epidemiology, RWE, and consulting.

The role partners with enterprise leaders to align methods, quality, and delivery across epidemiology, RWE, and client engagements, supporting strategic pursuits and external scientific voice.

Qualifications

• Doctoral-level degree in a discipline-relevant area (epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, public health) or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership in epidemiology and RWE with governance and capability development.
• Experience leading complex portfolios, senior client relationships, and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead epidemiology growth strategy and select priorities aligned with Fortrea Consulting strategy.
• Provide senior scientific approval for high-value epidemiology pursuits and client relationships.
• Shape scientific direction, governance, and capability roadmap for epidemiology and related data partnerships.
