Job summary

Akron Children's seeks a Sr Director of the PMO to provide enterprise leadership for a portfolio of strategic, technology, clinical, operational, and business transformation initiatives in a leading pediatric health system. You will establish and operate an enterprise PMO to ensure initiatives are aligned, prioritized, governed, resourced, and delivered with measurable outcomes.

You will partner with the CDIO, CEO council, and clinical/business leaders, delivering transparency into ISD budgets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• PMP, CPHIMSS or similar certification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in Information Services/Technology leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead an enterprise PMO for strategic initiatives.
• Develop portfolio prioritization based on value, ROI, risk, and capacity.
• Provide executive view on project status, costs, benefits, and risks.
• Lead governance for AI and digital transformation programs.
• Oversee large-scale ERP, EHR, cybersecurity, and infrastructure programs.
