Health First in Florida is seeking a Director of Emergency Services for the Tertiary Hospital to provide strategic leadership of the HRMC Emergency Department. This role oversees growth, resource allocation, and delivery of high‑quality patient care across the service line, aligning with Health First’s mission and regulatory standards.

The position requires a MSN/MBA/MHA or related master’s degree, RN licensure in Florida, and significant leadership experience in an emergency setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN), Business or Healthcare Administration (MBA/MHA).
• Four (4) years’ experience in nursing leadership.
• Two (2) years’ experience in emergency service environment.
• RN licensure in Florida or endorsement.
• American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider completion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of The Joint Commission and regulatory agencies.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Solid organizational and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities for improvement within the service line and implements solutions with follow‑through.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates the emergency services program to ensure quality, patient experience, and safety.
