Job summary

NLB Services is seeking an Executive Director to provide enterprise-level leadership for Emergency Services and Nursing Operations across multiple clinical locations, ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality care and strong service-line performance.

The leader collaborates with physicians, clinical teams, and organizational leadership to improve access, coordination, and continuity of care, using data and best practices to drive improvements and long-term service development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in hospital/outpatient/clinical settings.
• Compact RN license accepted; relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction for emergency and nursing operations across campuses.
• Establish operational priorities, goals, budgets, and resource plans.
• Direct department leaders and develop leadership through coaching and accountability.
• Maintain consistent care standards, policies, and workflows across sites.
• Monitor care quality, safety indicators, staffing, patient flow, and performance.
• Build partnerships with medical staff and other service-line leaders for care coordination.
• Ensure regulatory readiness and compliance with trauma, stroke, and nursing standards.
• Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and implement improvements.
• Support financial performance through efficient resource utilization and reimbursement understanding.
• Champion initiatives enhancing patient experience, safety, engagement, innovation, and care delivery.
• Maintain preparedness for emergencies, disasters, and incident response.
