Job summary

New Solutions is seeking an experienced RN Director of Nursing for the Emergency department to provide strategic and operational leadership, drive patient outcomes, and ensure cost-effective care.

Applicants must hold a BSN and active Alabama RN licensure, with at least five years of progressive leadership in emergency services, strong budgeting skills, and a track record in quality improvement and staff development. A comprehensive benefits package and sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Active Alabama RN licensure required or eligibility.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Emergency Services.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and building relationships.
• Experience in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation in an acute care setting.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (or obtainable within defined timeframe).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Emergency Services department.
• Develop and implement programs to improve patient outcomes and cost-effective care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and leadership to enhance clinical performance and patient experience.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and advance quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts for providers and staff.
• Oversee staff education, competency, and adherence to clinical and patient safety standards.
