Qualifications

• Must meet Pennsylvania's qualifications for a childcare center director.
• Experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or early learning program.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in early childhood education preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining safety and quality.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate staff, build relationships with families, and promote a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the childcare center and ensure licensing compliance.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain qualified staff; provide coaching and development.
• Foster a positive, collaborative school culture and strong family engagement.
• Oversee enrollment efforts, tours, and communications with families.
• Plan open houses, family events, and community relations activities.
• Monitor licensing requirements and safety procedures; maintain records.
