Job summary

Community Resources for Independent Living (CRIL) invites an Executive Director to guide a disability-led organization serving southern and eastern Alameda County from its Hayward headquarters and satellites in Fremont and Livermore. You will drive mission, strategy, and community impact while stewarding staff, board relations, and financial health.

CRIL seeks a leader with 5+ years in senior nonprofit leadership, strong fundraising skills, and a record of managing multi-site programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior leadership experience in the nonprofit or public sector.
• Strong staff and team development experience across diverse cultures and languages.
• Experience overseeing programs or operations across multiple locations.
• Proven fundraising and grant writing skills.
• Strong financial management skills with $1.5M+ budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead organizational advocacy and align systems-change efforts with CRIL’s mission.
• Represent CRIL in the community, coalitions, and with government entities.
• Oversee program delivery, regulatory compliance, and outcomes across all service locations.
• Direct budget administration, board reporting, and financial accountability.
• Build a diverse staff through recruitment, development, and performance management.
