Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando seeks a senior executive to set the long-term direction for the Digestive Health Institute and lead strategic initiatives in alignment with the mission to Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ. You will guide interdisciplinary teams, partner with physician and administrative leaders, and translate strategy into actionable plans.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a healthcare field, a Master’s preferred, and at least ten years in senior health administration with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare business or clinical science.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Services Administration, Nursing Administration, or Nursing Sciences preferred.
• Ten years in digestive health or related area with three years in program development.
• Seven+ years in senior hospital administration or directorship.
• Extensive experience working with physicians and conflict resolution.
• Experience leading high-level multidisciplinary group decisions.

Responsibilities

• Establish and commit to a long-term business direction after considering clinical and financial data; anticipate market shifts.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for future success.
• Use financial data to diagnose strengths/weaknesses and inform strategy.
• Maintain accountability for fiscal management of areas of responsibility.
• Apply cost containment while pursuing new or improved revenue models.
• Partner with leaders to drive quality of care and standards of care.
• Support Clinical Performance Improvement and organization-wide improvement.
• Translate priorities into operational reality with clear accountability.
• Secure and compare information to identify business issues and act.
• Provide coaching to develop others and prepare for succession.
• Establish systems to attract, develop, engage and retain talent.
• Motivate teams to achieve outcomes and business objectives.
• Initiate interdisciplinary collaboration regarding patient care.
• Uphold faith-based values and AdventHealth mission in decisions.
• Ensure customer perspective guides service practices.
