Job summary

Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute seeks an RN Educator to lead planning, development, and evaluation of staff education within the Digestive Health Institute in Downtown Orlando.

The role focuses on ensuring clinical staff competency, implementing evidence-based curricula, and collaborating with Clinical Learning to advance professional development across shifts and disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• 3 years of related clinical experience required.
• Current Florida RN licensure.
• National specialty certification must be obtained within 2 years of hire.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, development, design, implementation and evaluation of staff education.
• Verify clinical competency of staff to function independently.
• Maintain compliance with ANPD standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement education programs using innovative teaching methods.
• Collaborate with leadership to review orientee progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with Clinical Learning to enhance clinical skills and professional development.
• Maintain records of educational programs and assessments.
