Job summary

GardaWorld Federal Services seeks a Senior Director of Transportation to lead the detention transportation program across Texas and neighboring states. You will oversee a large fleet, ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance, and coordinate with federal and local agencies to meet mission timelines.

The role requires extensive experience managing multi-site fleets, complex staffing, budgets, and policy development, with a focus on detainee handling, security, and covenant

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive transportation operations experience (senior/Director level).
• Extensive detention transport operations knowledge and regulatory familiarity.
• Strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all aspects of large-scale detention transportation operations across multiple sites.
• Coordinate with government agencies to maintain compliance and reporting.
• Develop and enforce fleet management policies, preventive maintenance, and vehicle readiness standards.
• Ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance, HOS, driver qualification files, and safety programs.
• Lead staffing, training, budgeting, and performance management for transportation teams.
