Job summary

The Jacobson Group seeks a Vice President Dental Director to oversee scientific and clinical aspects of dental benefits administration, aligning with evidence-based dentistry and regulatory requirements.

This leadership role requires collaboration with internal teams, external stakeholders, and professional organizations to advance oral health care and drive strategic initiatives in dental benefits and disease management.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Science or Doctor of Dental Medicine from an accredited college of dentistry.
• Demonstrated public speaking and representation experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based dentistry and disease management.
• Familiarity with utilization review standards, CDT terminology, ADA issues.

Responsibilities

• Identify trends and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Review utilization, risk data, and outcomes to refine payment policies.
• Provide clinical guidance on necessity and appropriateness of treatments.
• Oversee QA programs with metrics and protocols to improve care quality.
• Lead government contracting to support compliance and efficiency.
• Promote risk-based dental benefits and disease management strategies.
