Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking an Executive Director, Originations to lead debt origination initiatives for a major financial services client. You will originate, structure, and close senior and subordinated debt transactions, coordinating with investment teams and legal to drive closing outcomes.

The role requires a track record in senior mortgage structures, including construction, bridge, mezzanine and preferred equity, with a nationwide client base.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in real estate lending
• Experience with multifamily, industrial, hospitality, self-storage, and retail
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products and requirements
• Advanced financial modeling and ARGUS proficiency
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and generate new client and existing relationships nationwide through networking, cold calling, referrals and industry events
• Sourcing, evaluation and execution of debt investments in the US across asset classes
• Underwrite and analyze loan opportunities with cash flow projections and loan metrics
• Negotiate mortgage loan terms with borrowers
• Coordinate originations and deal teams through investment and closing processes; mentor junior members
• Lead preparation and presentation of loan investment summaries for Investment Committee
