Job summary

LaSalle Debt Investors seeks a Vice President or Senior Vice President to lead the origination, underwriting, and closing of commercial real estate debt opportunities across the United States, including first mortgages, preferred equity, and mezzanine structures.

The role emphasizes building relationships with borrowers and sponsors, overseeing transaction execution, and guiding a high-performing team through complex financial analyses and investment committee presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years of CRE lending, debt investing, acquisitions, or capital markets experience (SVP).
• Strong underwriting and closing experience in CRE debt investments.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and originate CRE debt investments across US markets.
• Lead underwriting, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, documentation, and closing of transactions.
• Manage relationships with borrowers, sponsors, and brokers; coordinate with internal/ external teams.
• Present investment recommendations to senior leadership and investment committees.
• Mentor and develop Analysts, Associates, and junior investment professionals.
