Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Director of Valuation & Capital Markets Analytics to lead challenging engagements from proposal to completion. The role emphasizes executive leadership, technical excellence, and firm growth in complex financial instruments and related valuation services.

You will oversee client engagement, contribute to market strategy, and mentor staff while ensuring quality controls and risk management across projects. Travel both nationally and internationally is possible.

Qualifications

• Experience with valuation of complex financial instruments or derivatives.
• Experience in financial reporting valuation and appraisal review.
• 12+ years in accounting firms, advisory firms, banks, or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the valuation services for complex instruments.
• Manage client engagements from setup to delivery and communications.
• Develop market strategy, proposals, pricing, and pursuit strategies for significant opportunities.
• Coach and develop staff and future leaders in VCMA practice.
• Contribute to thought leadership and cross-functional collaborations.
