Russell: A Place of Promise (RPOP) is seeking an Executive Director to guide it into its next chapter, building the resources and organizational strength to create lasting Black wealth and community ownership in Russell. You will lead fundraising, strategic direction, and stakeholder engagement with a commitment to resident leadership and displacement‑free development.

The role is in‑person in Louisville, KY, with a salary range of $120,000–$166,000 and a strong benefits package including

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising and building donor relations.
• Ability to translate vision into strategic action and budgets.
• Proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders including foundations, individuals, and government funders.
• Strong narrative skills to tell the community story and attract investment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of RPOP's strategic plan and growth.
• Build and manage a team and consultants to deliver program impact.
• Strengthen resident-led governance and board effectiveness.
• Cultivate relationships with funders, partners, and Russell residents to expand resources.
