Job summary

Blue Ridge Cancer Care (BRCC) is seeking an Executive Director to lead a premier community-based oncology practice in partnership with The US Oncology Network. You will drive strategic planning, operational excellence, and a superior patient and employee experience, while aligning with physician leadership and network objectives.

Qualified candidates bring a track record in senior healthcare leadership, strong cross-functional expertise, and a people‑first approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA or MHA strongly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of healthcare management and operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of short- and long-term strategic and operating plans, including growth, efficiency, cost management, quality, and talent development
• Serve as a trusted partner to physician leadership, ensuring alignment between practice strategy and The US Oncology Network’s objectives
• Build and sustain strong relationships with hospital systems and external partners, driving collaborative initiatives
• Champion a high-engagement culture rooted in trust, collaboration, accountability, and a positive patient experience
• Oversee and develop a senior leadership team across operations, clinical services, HR, marketing, payer strategy, pharmacy, and research
• Ensure strong financial performance, operational discipline, and effective performance management processes
• Advise the Practice President, Joint Policy Board, and Regional Senior Vice President on business conditions, risks, and opportunities

Education
