Job summary

The US Oncology Network is seeking an Executive Director to serve as the senior non-physician business leader for WVCI, partnering with physician leadership to align strategy, operations, and financial performance with high-quality cancer care.

This role directs multi-year plans, owns the P&L, and leads cross-functional teams across analytics, patient experience, and compliance, building an inclusive culture and ensuring accountability and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, accounting, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive healthcare management and operations, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Demonstrated strategic, operational, and financial leadership in healthcare services.
• Experience partnering with physicians and senior stakeholders; leading multi-level teams.
• Knowledge of healthcare finance, reimbursement dynamics, revenue cycle, and compliance.
• Executive-level communication, influence, negotiation, and integrity.
• Experience with multi-site ambulatory care or physician practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Co-create and communicate a multi-year vision with physician leadership aligned with strategy and community needs.
• Direct annual and long-range plans, budgets, staffing models, and capital priorities.
• Own the practice P&L, forecasting, variance management, and contract performance.
• Translate strategy into measurable priorities across clinic, infusion, pharmacy, research, and revenue cycle.
• Lead process improvements while maintaining care quality and safety.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, accreditation, and privacy requirements.
• Build trusted physician relationships and collaborate with hospitals, payers, and partners.
• Lead workforce planning, talent development, and retention efforts.
