Philly BOLT seeks an Executive Director to lead its growth and deepen community impact across Philadelphia. The next leader will steward its grassroots and youth leadership model while expanding program reach and resources.

The role combines strategic vision, fundraising excellence, financial acumen, and relationship-building across neighborhoods, schools, funders, and civic partners. You will partner with staff and the Board to ensure sustainable, mission-aligned growth.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with grassroots or community-led organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Philadelphia neighborhoods and nonprofit ecosystem.
• Ability to set vision, priorities, and build organizational capacity for growth.
• Fundraising strategy development and donor relationship management.
• Financial oversight including budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
• Leadership of teams with accountability, collaboration, and mission focus.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building across diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Champion mission and keep community voice central in decisions.
• Serve as chief fundraiser, growing revenue from institutional and individual donors.
• Oversee financial health, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and risk management.
• Build, coach, and retain a strong, mission-aligned team.
• Cultivate partnerships with schools, funders, and civic partners.
• Provide strategic oversight of youth and grassroots programs.
