Job summary

Philly BOLT seeks an Executive Director to lead its growth and impact, guiding fundraising, financial management, and organizational development in Philadelphia. The role reports to the Board and drives partnerships across neighborhoods, schools, and civic partners.

The leader will translate strategy into program excellence, build a strong team, and expand youth programming while sustaining financial health and donor engagement.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in nonprofit or social-impact settings with youth and schools preferred.
• Proven fundraising ability and donor relationship management.
• Ability to build organizational capacity and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Champion mission and ensure community voice guides decisions; balance growth with culture.
• Serve as chief fundraiser, diversify revenue from donors, partners, and government sources.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and resource allocation; build scalable systems.
• Build, coach, and retain a mission-aligned team with clear expectations and accountability.
• Cultivate partnerships across neighborhoods, schools, funders, and civic partners; govern program impact.
