Job summary

Western Wayne Family Health Centers in Taylor, MI seeks a Dental Director to provide clinical direction for the dental program and ensure high-quality patient care. This role combines hands-on patient care with administrative leadership and policy development.

You will oversee dental staff, collaborate with the COO, and participate in budgeting, QA, and program planning to meet community health needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited dental school and licensure in Michigan.
• Completion of an accredited general practice residency preferred.
• Minimum five years of clinical dental experience preferred.
• FTCA coverage or malpractice insurance obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat dental/oral conditions per approved protocols.
• Maintain accurate dental records and referrals.
• Develop and implement dental department policies and procedures.
• Lead and supervise dental staff; participate in management meetings.
• Prepare reports for HRSA, Joint Commission, and state agencies as needed.
